Baby’s Block – The Baby’s block pattern has been around for many years.  In 1851 it appeared as Godey Design in the Godey’s Lady’s Book.  There are numerous interpretations and names given to this block, but the basic elements are always the same.  The Baby’s Block belongs to the one-patch family of quilting blocks and creates the illusion of blocks.
