How to submit your quilt to the gallery

	Take a digital photograph of your quilt, or scan a photo of your quilt onto your computer.
	Make sure the size of your image is no larger than 100K and the image dimensions are no greater than 400 pixels wide or 400 pixels tall with a resolution of 72 dpi.
	Save your image as a JPG.
	Browse your computer to find and attach your image: Find File:

By submitting the quilt I am submitting ("Submission") I understand that Scholastic may or may not post it, in its sole discretion, and further hereby grant to Scholastic the right (a) to use, publish, manufacture and distribute the Submission in any and all media now known or hereafter developed, published by or under Scholastic's authority, in whole or in part, individually or in conjunction with other materials, images or text, and for any purpose whatsoever, including without limitation illustration, promotion, advertising and publicity; (b) to copyright the Submission in Scholastic's name or any name that it may choose; (c) to use my name or any other name alone or in connection with the Submission. I hereby waive all rights of inspection or approval of the Submission as may be modified or used by Scholastic. I represent and warrant that the Submission is my original work, has not been previously published or otherwise manufactured or produced, I own all rights in and to the Submission, and that by submitting the Submission I am not violating any other obligation I have nor infringing on the rights of any other person or entity. I release, discharge and agree to hold harmless Scholastic and those acting under its permission or authority, from any and all claims, demands or liabilities arising out of or in connection with the use of the Submission, including without limitation claims copyright infringement, trademark infringement or infringement of any other personal or property right. I acknowledge and agree that Scholastic, and any other person or entity acting under its permission or authority, is not responsible for (i) technical, hardware, software, telephone, or other communications malfunctions, errors, or failures of any kind, lost or unavailable network connections, Web site, Internet, or ISP availability, unauthorized human intervention, traffic congestion, incomplete or inaccurate capture of entry information (regardless of cause) or failed, incomplete, garbled, jumbled, or delayed computer transmissions which may limit one's ability to enter and/or submit the Submission, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer in connection with submitting the Submission, and (ii) lost, late, incomplete, mutilated, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected submissions.
