By submitting the quilt I am submitting ("Submission") I understand that Scholastic may or may not post it, in its sole discretion, and further hereby grant to Scholastic the right (a) to use, publish, manufacture and distribute the Submission in any and all media now known or hereafter developed, published by or under Scholastic's authority, in whole or in part, individually or in conjunction with other materials, images or text, and for any purpose whatsoever, including without limitation illustration, promotion, advertising and publicity; (b) to copyright the Submission in Scholastic's name or any name that it may choose; (c) to use my name or any other name alone or in connection with the Submission. I hereby waive all rights of inspection or approval of the Submission as may be modified or used by Scholastic. I represent and warrant that the Submission is my original work, has not been previously published or otherwise manufactured or produced, I own all rights in and to the Submission, and that by submitting the Submission I am not violating any other obligation I have nor infringing on the rights of any other person or entity. I release, discharge and agree to hold harmless Scholastic and those acting under its permission or authority, from any and all claims, demands or liabilities arising out of or in connection with the use of the Submission, including without limitation claims copyright infringement, trademark infringement or infringement of any other personal or property right.
